Data Repository

The Medifusion Parallel Repository is a basic data warehouse solution that maintains a mirror copy of your core PAS data in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
Registrations, admissions, transfers, discharges and appointments which occur in PAS are all copied to the repository. This provides a version of PAS that can be analysed, interfaced with and reported on without interfering with the live data base.
Tools such Microsoft Excel can be used to query the data, providing new ways of looking at the PAS.

The data can also be used as the source for read-only interfaces using ODBC or SQL SERVER, removing the need for costly third party interfaces. Import patient demographics into other departmental systems without the need for batch import/export.
